Indiana Wesleyan University is an evangelical Christian liberal arts comprehensive university. For the past two years it has been the fastest growing university in Indiana and is the largest private university in Indiana. In addition to the residential campus in Marion, an additional 12,000 adult students attend classes at regional education centers in Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio as well as through online degree programs.

Top Degrees Offered

Various liberal arts degrees are offered in 87 undergraduate majors. Areas of study include nursing, counseling, criminal justice, business, education, computer, mathematics, music, psychology & social work and theology. The different degrees offered are Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Music, Master of Arts, Master of Science, Master of Education, Master of Business Administration and Master of Divinity. A doctorate in organizational leadership is also offered. Online courses are available in many areas of study as well, allowing completion of online degree programs.

Accreditation

Indiana Wesleyan University’s initial 1966 accreditation was by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The school has remained accredited since then. There are other accreditation boards and associations that also accredit individual Indiana Wesleyan University programs.
