Kent State University is a public institution of higher learning in Kent, Ohio.  Since the school was founded in 1910, Kent State has expanded from a teacher education college to a university with over 300 majors, including masters programs and twenty-three doctoral programs.  They have grown to 8 campuses throughout the state, including locations at Ashtabula, Salem, Stark, Trumbull, Tuscarawas, Geauga, and East Liverpool with an enrollment of close to 40,000. Kent State also has a rigorous research program and is known for community involvement.
